Worth for city sightseeing

Everything was nice. Breakfast good, rooms good enough. Clean and stylish.

The hotel has a small swimming pool and is in front of the metro line. Not noisy but also not romantic, quiet setting. It didn't bother me but sharing as objective for me was city sightseeing...just to set expectations

Great location, interesting decor

The location is excellent, with the BTS, shopping malls, convenience stores and restaurants close by. The decor is not boring like most hotels and I found everything very comfortable. The pool area is a beautiful, calm area to relax, day or night.

Last time I stayed here, the entire hotel was filled with the delightful fragrance of lemongrass but this time I didn't like the scent they were using.

Great stay at Bangkok city.

Location of this hotel is great. Walking distance to mall and food areas. Room is very comfortable. Breakfast spread is acceptable. Staff especially at the coffee house are all very helpful.

Enjoyed our stay. location very convenient though the outside area not very welcoming. very close to the Jim Thomson mus

interior beautiful… garden and pool area lots of healthy greens, beautiful and peaceful. Room very comfortable and large bathroom

Spa was closed, very disappointing. In room dining very very limited choice. Can only order from 11am onwards. Areas outside lift ( can see as you are going down or up) were not kept clean

Good hotel, large room.

The pool is an ornamental one and the garden is not situated in the back as we thought, but close to a noisy large street (and its overhead metro).

Comfortable spacious colourful room full of character.

spacious room, light and temperature controlled. large bed with lots of pillows. Comfortable sitting area with table and a further dressing table. Dressing gown, slippers and toiletries offered as standard. large bath with separate rainfall shower. screens enabled the bathroom to be private or for those wishing to watch tv whilst in the bath could be opened. umbrella, shoe horn and torch all within room for use.

No instructions on how to turn the toilet seat off, unnerving always having a warm seat when sitting down . Large wardrobe but could do with a few more hangers. lack of drawers for folded clothes, pants socks etc. Hairdryer very week on power normally my hair take 5 minutes to dry 20 mins with this one and still wet.

The staff is very friendly.

The staff is very friendly. Room is clean. The location is surrounded by a lot of shopping malls and close to the metro and river taxi.

We stayed in an adjoining room so the soundproof is not very nice when babies crying in the room or people fighting in the room in midnight.

A very nice stay in Bangkok

The staff is very nice and helpful, the room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts are tasty and have a large selection of food. The location is very convenient close to Ratchatewi BTS station and to a water taxi. It took us 50 min to get to the hotel from the airport with public transport.

Not much to complain about, we had a great stay there. The alarm clock in the room didn't work:)

We enjoy the lux feel of the hotel and best of all the breakfast

The place is really cosy and room size is very generous, we should have booked 1 room and asked for extra bed instead of 2 rooms. Breakfast spread was good and food was delicious. Especially love the live station of the street food.

Cleanliness was abit not there. The mugs are with some coffee/ tea stains. We had breakfast for 3 consecutive day but the menu did not change, by 3rd day we were abit sick of the same food. Nearby amenities could have been better. There were no massage parlors near by within walking distance, no 7 eleven or convenience stall. We had to lug bottles of mineral water from MBK, about 800km walk, up and down bridges or be a dare devil to try jay crossing across 4 lanes on the very busy roads of Bangkok. Because the location is not as convenient as we desire it to be, a shuttle service from the hotel to the nearby BTS station or MBK would have been great. After all that shopping all you want to do is to reach hotel fast. Grab services to central siam or pratunam area typically cost less than 100baht.

Beautiful pool

A beautiful pool with trees as in photos which is a pleasure to see during breakfast as well. Our room got upgraded so a fairly big room with separate bath room. Relatively well located close to MBK mall and BTS, easy to get to airport.

Too high tech as the ipad that controls room light cannot be turned off or close the drawer.

Last night

Close to Phaya Thai, so a very easy and inexpensive taxi from the direct train from airport. Served nice food on our late arrival by a calm pool, just what we wanted for our last night. Rooms very spacious and well appointed, very modern, and clean.left by taxi ,direct to airport, easy access to free way avoiding traffic as early in the morning.

Great hotel, Great location

Perfect location, walking distance to Siam Discovery, Center, Paragon etc. Friendly staff, big clean rooms with unique style. Would recommend others to stay here and will definitely come back again.

Hairdyer blowing is weak, took super long time to dry hair. Not much TV channel in English. Hallway abit too dark and room door eye viewer is not working, cannot see who outside have to open the door.

My Favourite Hotel in Bangkok!

Lovely style and service. Very friendly staff. Everything was so beautifull. This is also a hotel, where the room is enough big. All interesting places like Jim Thompson house, Art and Culture Centree are very near. This was my second time in Hua Chang Heritage Hotel, and I will come back!

So so

Location was very good. Rooms were decorated nicley.

The first room smelled badly so I had to change the room. The second room(room number 407) had issues from hot water system. Water was still cold even after 40 minutes when I filled the bathtub. No hot bath available! Then water from the shower was hot and cold, hot and cold continuously.. unstable hot water system.

A great place to stay 2 or 3 nights with easy accessibility to major shopping and transport.

The staff were gracious, kind and helpful as is expected in service hotel. They always smiled and were respectful of guests. The hotel is a quirky heritage rebuild with fancy chairs in the foyer and decorative walls that slide to reconfigure the space to your choosing. Only a 4 min walk t MBK , National Stadium BTS and Siam shopping centre and The Arts and Cultural centre. Close by is the Khlong with great boats that speed you over the water. Well worth a ride if you are fit>
